In public comment, Richard Lill, a teacher who identified his location and address, described personal experiences with cold classrooms and asked whether all windows were replaced under the referendum. He said temperatures in his spaces have ranged roughly from 51°F to 60°F over recent weeks and urged staff to encourage teachers to report problems so work orders are generated.
"The range that I've had has gone from 53 to 60," Lill said, adding concern about upcoming nights expected to hit 20°F. Administrators responded that some windows were not replaced across all sites under the referendum, that Group 2 (Site 181) has not been closed out, and that staff would follow up. The board thanked Lill and said the district would continue to prioritize resolving heating problems.
