Kimball to sell new package off-sale liquor license by sealed bid with $5,000 minimum

The council abandoned the earlier motion as amended and ultimately approved a final motion (Bilben/Bickner) to offer the license for sealed bids with a minimum bid of $5,000, a required application to be submitted with bids by Monday, Aug. 18 at 5:00 p.m., and sealed bids to be opened Aug. 18 at 8:00 p.m. The minutes state that in the event of a tie the selection will be re-opened for bids.
