Tift County rezones three-acre Omega Eldorado Road parcel to agricultural

The Tift County Board of Commissioners voted on Feb. 9 to rezone a three-acre parcel on Omega Eldorado Road (Map 0064 Parcel 008) so that the entire tract will carry AG (Agricultural) zoning. Community Development Services Director Chad Branch said the tract is located on Omega Eldorado Road just west of Union Road and that the owner, Glenda Seper, requested the rezoning; the Planning Commission recommended approval.
County Attorney Anthony Rowell opened a public hearing on the application; with no public comments he closed it and asked commissioners whether any of them or their family or business relationships had an interest in the property. The record reflects no affirmative responses. Commissioner Paul Webb moved to approve TC-ZA-25-07/Resolution No. 2026-05; Commissioner Greg Wood seconded and the motion carried 6-0.
