Councilmember Ryan Rowley described the ordinance as “straightforward,” and the council voted to approve Ordinance 01‑21‑2026‑A; the motion was moved by Councilmember Rowley and seconded by Councilmember Anne Moss, and the roll-call vote was unanimous.
The city noted the vacated portion is not expected to be detrimental to city operations and that right‑of‑way adjustments tied to development will follow standard dedication and construction processes.
