City staff report Peteetneet restroom remodel and launch General Plan update

Payson staff reported that the Peteetneet restroom remodel has begun and that the city received a grant to support a General Plan update that will include hazard mitigation and transportation considerations; council members were invited to provide input.
Karl Teemant, Parks & Golf Director, told the council that the restroom remodel at the Peteetneet is underway and that winter recreation programs began this week.
Senior Planner Anders Bake outlined an upcoming General Plan update, noting that the city received a grant to assist the process. Bake said the update will include goals, policies and development standards and will incorporate disaster and hazard mitigation and transportation planning; he asked council members to submit comments to MAG regarding hazards and transportation priorities.
