The Airway Heights City Council voted unanimously, 6-0, on a series of ordinances and resolutions on May 5. The consent agenda included approval of meeting minutes and Century West work order number 3 for $50,000; the council then adopted two driveway-width ordinances (neighborhood and multifamily zones) and approved five resolutions addressing a 3% credit-card administrative fee, change-order policy, cash-drawer limits, a bidding waiver for police vehicles, and updated right-of-way procedures.
All roll-call votes recorded in open session were unanimous in favor. Several items had been briefed at the study session earlier in the week; staff noted that the change-order policy allows staff to approve change orders up to the contract contingency while amounts in excess of contingency return to council. No items were opposed and no public comments were submitted at the meeting.
