"Welcome aboard, mister Campbell," the chair said after the vote.
Council and city staff noted administrative steps needed to finalize appointments, including posting a bond and completing filing requirements; City Manager Albert Tripp said he would follow up with applicants to share filing links and instructions. Councilmember Schubert reminded potential candidates that the filing window for the November ballot runs from May 5 through 5 p.m. on May 9.
