The Select Board approved a slate of appointments and routine licenses during its April 13 meeting. Chair moved to appoint Dominic Mendano as the town's new fire warden effective July 1; the board approved the appointment by voice vote. The board also approved planning commission appointments including Brian Ziroff, Siobhan (surname in transcript), Patrick McQuillan and John Van Houten.
On business licensing, the board approved second-class and tobacco licenses for West River Provisions LLC, Northern Sun Mercantile (DBA), and applications from Russellville Marketplace (Karen Rice). Each application was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote. The board likewise approved several overweight permits for contractors, including National Energy Control Services, Gurney Brothers Construction, and another consolidated carrier permit.
The board treated these items as routine business, recording motions and voice votes for each approval. No dissent was recorded on the transcript. The chair closed the licensing block by confirming paperwork and payment status for applicants and instructing staff to record the approvals.
