The board authorized purchase of a bench for the Town Office at a cost of $257.39 and approved payment of an edge-striping overage of $10,721.34 to Green Mountain Line Striping LLC, with the cost covered by a grant. The board also approved an excess weight permit for McElwain Contracting, LLC., and a Town Hall facility use request for Weston Theatre rehearsals.
The Selectboard approved Ruck Up, Inc.'s request for a coin drop fundraiser on VT Route 11 on Oct. 18, 2025 (rain date Oct. 19) subject to proof of liability insurance and state authorization; minutes noted the fundraiser has previously averaged about $2,300. The board also accepted a proposal to rebuild the Town Office chimney at an estimated cost of $20,205 from the Building Reserve. All motions carried unanimously.
