Bucks Hill staff detail leaks, foundation concerns and limited adaptive space during board tour

Staff described inside conditions that constrain programming—limited storage, narrow hallways used for recess during long winter months, and sensory spaces that are small and frequently require one-on-one staffing. They noted the playground lacks adaptive play equipment and said an "inclusion buggy" donated by a community member helps non-ambulatory students participate in outdoor time.
Staff framed many of these measures as interim: the team favors targeted, strategic repairs to keep Bucks Hill safe and functional while the district completes planning for a permanent facility.
