Selectboard approves order of Phase I connections for village wastewater project

The Londonderry Selectboard voted unanimously Sept. 8 to adopt the Wastewater Committee’s recommended order of prioritization for Phase I service connections ahead of bid documents. The prioritized list places infill development first, then Middletown Road extension, Main Street extension and Old School Street extension, as provided in a Sept. 5 memo from the Windham Regional Commission.
Martha Dale, who moved the motion, told the board the committee used a thoughtful process to set the priorities. The action is intended to guide which non-priority properties will be offered connections as the project moves toward bidding and construction.
