River Ridge adopts goals and performance measures to comply with HB7013; report due Dec. 1, 2025

District management and counsel briefed the Board on HB7013, newly adopted state legislation requiring special districts to establish and report annual goals and performance measures. Cleo Adams, Tony Pires and Chuck Adams highlighted statutory compliance steps and proposed three focus categories for FY2025: Community Communication and Engagement; Infrastructure and Facilities Maintenance; and Financial Transparency and Accountability.
The Board approved the Goals & Objectives and the Performance Measures/Standards & Annual Reporting Form and added the initial reporting task to the district's Key Activity Dates. The initial report must be posted on the CDD website by Dec. 1, 2025.
Board members asked that the reporting timeline be tracked on the Key Activity Dates list and that staff prepare the statutorily compliant package for posting and future review.
