The Heritage Pines Community Development District Board of Supervisors on April 15 adopted Resolution 2025-03 approving a proposed Operation & Maintenance budget for fiscal year 2025/2026 and set a public hearing for July 15, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the Heritage Pines Country Club Meeting Room.
District Manager Chuck Adams reviewed differences between the proposed FY2026 budget and the FY2025 budget, saying the net effect is a reduction of approximately $4,000 in appropriations and that the O&M assessment is projected to decrease by $2.88 per unit year-over-year. On motion by Vice Chair Arthur Rhodes and seconded by Assistant Secretary Carol Vaughan, the resolution was adopted unanimously.
Why it matters: the hearing gives residents a formal opportunity to comment before the Board adopts a final budget and sets the assessment. The Board directed staff to publish and transmit the notice required by Florida law ahead of the July hearing.
