At its Dec. 10 meeting, the Heritage Pines CDD adopted Resolution 2025-02 to amend the Fiscal Year 2023/2024 budget to reflect a major equipment purchase and bookkeeping changes. District Manager Chuck Adams told the board the amendment was needed to record the new lawnmower purchase and that columns had been added to show 'Actual' versus 'Adopted Budget' and 'Proposed Increase/(Decrease)'.
Adams said the 'Operations and maintenance - Contingencies' line item was increased by $20,000 to cover possible additional journal entries; Chair Kathleen Lonergan noted the district would receive a $1,298 refund from the Tax Collector's Office. On motion by Mr. Walsh, seconded by Mr. Putman, the board adopted Resolution 2025-02.
