Joyce Welsh reported that the curbs in front of her residence are crumbling and asked about landscape storm debris removal; Chair Kathleen Lonergan asked her to provide the address so District Engineer Kurt Heath can inspect. Tim Sweeney asked about providing microphones during meetings; Lonergan said she had submitted the request and Grounds Superintendent Tim Gatz asked to be copied on related emails. Resident Susan Napolitano questioned whether awarding contracts to the lowest-priced bidder is best practice; Manager Adams replied that he has worked with Premier Lakes and considers their service superior to SOLitude. Assistant Secretary Janice Benedetti said a resident called about mosquito control and noted the technician treated the area and identified significant pond issues at that location.
Board members directed staff to inspect reported curb damage, continue debris removal where noted, and follow up on the microphone request and mosquito-control reports. No formal policy changes were adopted during the meeting.
