Developer: Aspen Ridge 'almost sold out,' plans to replicate project in other cities

Steve Easley, introduced in staff remarks as the developer for the Aspen Ridge project, updated the Bridal Arrow authority on sales and construction activity and described retail interest in remaining lots.
Easley said the grocery partner had "no concern about the apartment" and that Aspen Ridge sales had been strong: "We're almost sold out at the original Aspen Ridge site." He described ongoing work on cell towers and curb construction (including a re-pour) and said the team was negotiating to reserve remaining inline retail space for a sit-down restaurant. Easley said he had purchased land in Bixby for a replication of Aspen Ridge and that he expects to announce additional tenants in the next "60 to 90 days." The developer also emphasized sustained communication with neighbors, noting a commitment to an improved masonry and wood fence to screen new apartments.
Board members praised the developer's neighborhood outreach and noted that early public meetings improved community reception. The developer and staff said they would provide a timetable for the multifamily start and completion as part of a staff amendment for the authority's consideration.
