District counsel to send letters after Village of Estero says it won't maintain road to Clubhouse

During staff reports District Counsel Tony Pires said the Village of Estero's position is that it does not need to maintain the road west of U.S. 41 to the Clubhouse, while Mr. Pires believes the County is responsible. Mr. Pires said he will send a letter to the Village of Estero and County counsel asserting that the Village owns the road and provided Johnson Engineering documents as supporting material.
Operations Manager Shane Willis said he had emailed Johnson Engineering's documents to Mr. Pires on Nov. 20, 2024. The minutes do not record a vote on the ownership question; Mr. Pires will proceed with written correspondence to clarify maintenance responsibility.
