The River Ridge Community Development District on November 19, 2024 unanimously approved My AV‑Tech LLC Estimates 24150 and 24151 to install three permanent 15‑inch solar-powered digital speed radar signs with cameras and messaging, plus one mobile unit and cloud-device services. The combined cost authorized was $105,000.
PSGRC General Manager Eric Long told the board that the existing unit had "clocked 800 varied speeding violations over a three week period," and staff discussed moving that unit 20 to 30 yards to improve detection. The board approved the installations and authorized purchase of poles from Paramount Asphalt (about $1,200 per pole); staff and the homeowners association will discuss subscription and enforcement arrangements for cloud-device warnings and fines.
