The Greenville County Roads, Infrastructure and Public Works Committee voted July 21 to approve and forward the nomination of Kyle Davis to be commissioned as a county code enforcement officer.
Molly Hodge, identified in the meeting as the county's code enforcement supervisor, asked the committee to nominate Davis, saying he "has completed his training period and has become certified as a international property maintenance inspector," and requested the committee allow him to be commissioned. A committee member moved to approve the nomination; the motion passed by voice vote. The chair congratulated Davis and welcomed him to county service.
Another staff member praised Davis's progress, saying he rose from a different position into a higher-level role and the county looks forward to his continued work. The nomination will be forwarded to the full council for formal commissioning action.
