Michael Yance, the museum's executive director, told the council the Museum Broken Arrow saw over 5,600 visitors in 2024 and recorded 157 new donated collection items. "We actually had over 5,600 people come to the museum. Of that, we had 4,800 who paid admission," Yance said, and added that fundraising events and school partnerships contributed to rising engagement.
Yance outlined 2025 plans including a 50th anniversary for the Broken Arrow Historical Society, a return of the Pioneer Dinner to Main Street, and walking tours in the Rose District in partnership with the Tulsa Foundation for Architecture. He also described education programs for K–12 classes and rental revenue from the museum's third floor. Council members thanked museum staff and asked clarifying questions about tour formats and outreach.
