At its May 4 meeting the Plympton Board of Assessors moved into executive session under M.G.L. c30 §(a)(7) and M.G.L. c.59 §60. Amy Cronin exited the room at 5:16 p.m. to allow the remaining members to discuss abatements and exemptions in a session the minutes note is not public record.
The minutes record that, in executive session, the Board approved two veteran exemptions and discussed two Appellate Tax Board filings. The Board also 'took no action on one real estate abatement and therefore was deemed denied.' The motion to enter executive session and motions during the session are recorded as made by Ethan Stiles and seconded by Dean Jafferian, with roll call votes recorded as 'all in favor.' The Board adjourned at 5:30 p.m.
