David Rose reported that the AV-8 trainer display aircraft is currently in the paint barn and that the Foundation will contact the City Manager about next steps for the exhibit. Board members questioned progress on repainting the H-46 helicopter; minutes state that the repainting is not currently on schedule but the aircraft will be power washed soon.
Richard Hazlett additionally noted donor activity related to exhibits: photographs and model aircraft kits were donated, and several metal boxes belonging to a recently deceased local resident were offered to the collection. Hazlett also said a TAV-8B aircraft will be sent to the Hickory Aviation Museum; the minutes do not list delivery dates or transfer agreements.
