County to study recording-system improvements; Civic Review software presented

Recorder Kaia Bowden and resident Randall Knight discussed limitations in the county recording system that make retrieving HOA documents difficult. The commissioners agreed to research potential IT solutions to improve document access and also took under advisement a resident suggestion to establish a dedicated communications line for contacting commissioners.
Later in the meeting, a representative identified only as John, founder of Civic Review, presented a permit and licensing software product recommended by the county building inspector. Commissioners said they will consider the software for county use; no procurement action was taken at this meeting.
