Ben Willoughby, the county attorney, presented a final agreement to terminate the old District 1 Mental Health Authority and said the change completes a reformatting process already adopted by Box Elder and Cache counties. Commissioner William E. Cox moved to sign the agreement; Commissioner Jonathan B. Lee seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
County leaders did not record additional operational details at the meeting. The commission's approval implements the intercounty agreement presented by Willoughby and removes the old District 1 entity from the county's organizational structure; Willoughby will carry forward any next steps required to finalize the termination.
