Town Clerk Nancy Leigh told the council the Tactical Archery Challenge (TAC) will be held at Brian Head Resort July 16–19 and that the Town will provide shuttle services and road closures between the Mall and Giant Steps parking lot. "There are approximately 3,500 participants and 7,000 total people expected to attend along with 120 vendors," Nancy said.
Leigh also reminded the council that Brian Head Days is scheduled for July 24–25 and that volunteers were still being sought. Town Manager Bret Howser invited councilors to a Flag Dedication ceremony scheduled during Brian Head Days on Saturday, July 25 at about 11:00 a.m. at the water wheel pump house on the north end of Village Way Road. Staff noted shuttle stop foundations are being poured and that the town is coordinating road closures and traffic management for peak visitor flow.
Council members praised coordination with the resort and public works for event readiness and traffic planning.
