The Boardman Urban Renewal Agency voted to adopt its fiscal year 2026–27 budget, approving a total appropriation of $5,841,700 after a staff presentation and a public hearing that drew no public testimony.
Financial Director Marta Barajas presented the staff report, saying, "We are here today to complete the budget process for the Boardman Urban Renewal Agency," and that the budget committee had reviewed and approved the proposal at its 05/12/2026 meeting. Barajas told the Agency the committee had met the notice requirements and recommended adoption of the budget as presented.
The Chair opened a public hearing and explained the order for testimony; no speakers signed up and the hearing was closed. A member moved to adopt Resolution URA 2-2026 to adopt the 2026–27 budget, the motion was seconded, and the Agency approved the resolution by voice vote. The meeting record shows the budget committee had approved the budget at its May meeting prior to the Agency vote.
The Agency provided no additional breakdown of the budget in the hearing beyond the total amount presented. The resolution adopting the budget was approved at the meeting; the Agency did not receive any public comments during the hearing.
