Staff to present arts and culture master plan to city and county councils in January

The staff said it will request resolutions of support so other departments can begin implementation work and to secure council sanctioning for priorities identified by the plan.
The Chair asked staff to distribute the final plan to board members once published so the advisory board can review before council hearings; staff agreed and noted they will send reminders about the council presentations so board members who wish to attend can do so. "We are in the final stages of drafting the arts and culture master plan, and we are slated to go to both city and county council, early January," staff said.
Staff also highlighted other near‑term community engagement opportunities, including a Create PC holiday makers market and several small implementation projects tied to transit and shelter improvements; staff encouraged the board to participate in outreach when the plan goes to councils.
