At 7:42 p.m. Alderwoman Murray-Killon moved that the council go into executive session regarding the appointment, employment or evaluation of a public officer or employee under 1 V.S.A. § 313(a)(2), inviting Ron Redmond, Betsy Sullivan and Martha DeGraaf; Alderman Koenig seconded and the motion passed 4-0. The minutes state no action was taken on that executive session.
Following a recorded finding that premature public knowledge of information concerning contract negotiations would place the city at a substantial disadvantage, Alderwoman Murray-Killon moved that the council enter executive session to receive an update on contract negotiations under 1 V.S.A. § 313(a)(1)(A); Alderman Koenig seconded and the motion passed 4-0. The executive session ended at 7:50 p.m.; no action was taken. The council adjourned at 7:51 p.m.
