Mayor Randy Hettich used his report at the June 23 meeting to remind the council and public that the City of Argo will host an America 250 event at City Hall on June 27 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. "Mayor Hettich reminded everyone of the City's America 250 event at City Hall on June 27th from 10:00-2:00," the minutes state.
Hettich also publicly thanked the event sponsors named in the minutes: Mighty Green, Printcorp, Moda Boutique, Corky's LLC and Argo Pharmacy. He additionally informed the council that City Hall will be closed on Thursday, July 2 for the Independence Day holiday.
