At the June 8 meeting the Argo City Council approved the Massey Asphalt Paving Proposal for the Argo Storm Drainage Project in the amount of $49,072.00. Councilperson Dennis Griffin moved approval and Councilperson Rick Hopkins seconded; Mayor Pro-Tem Corky Massey recorded an abstention and the motion carried.
Council discussion noted that a change order was required because unsuitable soil conditions were encountered during the project.
