The Greencastle Community School Corporation Board recognized Students of the Month on May 19, 2025: Kamrin Holley (Greencastle High School), Ella Endersby (Greencastle Middle School), Maylee Duncan (Tzouanakis Intermediate), Remy Lewellen (Deer Meadow Primary), and Joely Linville (Ridpath Primary). Kamrin Holley also led the Pledge of Allegiance earlier in the meeting.
Assistant Superintendent Becky McPherson reported that Greencastle Middle School completed grade-level CommUNITY projects this spring — sixth graders revitalized the GMS garden, seventh graders assembled gift baskets for local emergency responders, and eighth graders performed spring clean-up at Robe Ann Park and Peoples' Pathway. McPherson said K–5 teachers will attend training on the new Ready Math curriculum and will have paid planning time during the summer. Carson Brown, a JAG teacher at Greencastle Middle School, described experiences from the first year of the JAG program. Superintendent Jeff Gibboney noted athletic and academic accomplishments and stated, "graduation ceremonies will be held at McAnally Center at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 23, 2025."
