Rodney Hoyt delivered the road report, telling the Selectboard the town has two bids for grant-funded resurfacing work on Mary White Road and the bottom half of Dickerman Road and that the town can provide heavy equipment assistance. ‘‘They sent their mower up here for three or four days last summer,’’ Hoyt said, explaining why the town 10-wheeler could be used to help with resurfacing work.
Hoyt also raised a maintenance issue on Monarch Hill, saying the problematic culvert is part of a driveway and therefore the property owner’s responsibility; Selectboard member Gary Mullen said he would address the culvert with his tractor this week. The discussion recorded no vote on reallocating town crews or funds; the board treated the item as operational direction and routine road maintenance planning.
