Task Force recommends Voltpost procure EV charger pole pending Town Manager sign-off

The task force discussed an upcoming Voltpost item on the Town Council agenda and outstanding procurement questions that must be resolved before installation. Members said Voltpost needs Town Council approval before the chargers can be installed and that a recent change in location increased the pole cost. The task force decided to ask Voltpost to procure the pole and be reimbursed after installation, subject to the Town Manager’s approval and the Town Manager signing the final agreement.
No final contract signature was recorded at the Task Force meeting; members noted that the Town Manager must approve Voltpost obtaining the pole on the town’s behalf and must sign the final agreement before installation proceeds.
