Alcester council selects 'pond' main color for water tower, approves daffodil stripe

"I do have paint samples here that came very, very, like, securely sent to the city office," a meeting participant noted when the samples were presented. After discussion, the council moved to approve 'pond' for the main tower color and later approved 'daffodil' for the stripe; both motions were seconded and carried by voice vote.

The council directed staff to notify the school and share the color mock-up with the fourth-grade class that helped pick the options. No contract award or vendor selection was recorded during the meeting; color choices were adopted as a design decision during the session.
