The Vergennes City Council on June 17 approved new liquor licenses for two downtown businesses. Alderman Koenig moved to approve a First- and Third-Class liquor license and an outside consumption permit for Moohah, Inc. (operating as Blacksheep Bistro) and a First- and Third-Class liquor license for Pork Squid, LLC (Park Squeeze); the motion was seconded by Alderman Rakowski and recorded as approved 6-0 with Deputy Mayor Austin recorded as abstaining on one action.
Council handled the license approvals as routine municipal business during the meeting’s City Council Business agenda. The approvals were recorded in the minutes as standard motions with no additional conditions attached.
