Boardman TAC launches Main Street IAMP refinement on accelerated schedule

Matt Hubert, the consultant leading the project, opened the Technical Advisory Committee meeting by describing the effort as an update to the earlier plan: "it's the, Main Street Interchange Area Refinement Plan," he said. He told attendees the city funded the update and that the team plans an aggressive timeline, adding, "I promise we won't go more than an hour and 0.5. So by 03:30, we'll be done."
Hubert said the team expects to roll much of the 2025 Transportation System Plan work into the IAMP update to save time and budget and hopes to have the refinement reviewed and under consideration for adoption in the November–December window, possibly spilling into January 2027. He listed the meeting agenda (schedule, Tech Memo 1 review, desired outcomes, and next steps) and asked TAC members to review draft memos carefully and provide comments within the coming week. The consultant also said focused outreach with property and business owners will occur in June ahead of a second technical review in July.
