Interim administrator will split time assisting Lincoln County; council expects remote availability

Neebiel told the council he would make the arrangement work and that much of the county work is remote. "When I'm in Newport, and it's Lincoln County... I'm gonna be very reachable by anybody that needs to get a hold of me," he said, noting prior commitments to Lincoln County that he did not want to abandon.
Councilors and staff agreed to balance the schedule around budget needs and previously arranged vacation time. The council framed the arrangement as a temporary, cooperative staffing approach while continuing recruitment for a permanent city administrator.
