The Public Works Director reported that the facility plan draft has been completed and is under review by the DRC, and that the city will prepare its DEQ report with a March 1 deadline. Staff said they corrected an error in the city’s smoke-testing report where a flow appeared to be routed to the storm system when in fact it was routed to the sanitary system; the correction favored the city.
Staff also described work on a metro-plan amendment and intergovernmental agreements to fund consultant work, and said quarterly coordination meetings with neighboring cities and counties will resume. The council did not take action but staff will return with reports and any required implementation steps for DEQ and planning bodies.
