Council approves water-meter and liftgate purchases for public works

"That meter has currently stopped working, so we need to replace that," the director said.

Council approved purchase of a water meter from Ferguson Water Works not to exceed $7,210.97 and authorized the director to sign documents; the motion passed unanimously. The council also approved purchase of a liftgate from United Industrial Equipment not to exceed $6,998, to be funded from sanitation capital; that motion also passed unanimously.
