Council renews school resource officer contract with 4% COLA; interim administrator authorized to sign

Chief Whitehill presented the school resource officer (SRO) contract renewal, noting the updated contract reflected the new interim city administrator’s name and included a 4% COLA increase. "The contract is almost the same as the year before," Chief Whitehill said, adding the price paid under the contract increased slightly to reflect the adjustment.
Councilor Senegas (speaker 11) moved to approve the contract and to authorize the interim city administrator to sign the necessary documents; the motion was seconded and the council voted to approve the renewal. Councilors asked whether dates or other terms changed and were told only the dates and the administrator name were updated.
