Finance Director Green Long presented a revised FY 26–27 budget calendar and asked council to set the first budget-committee meeting dates and distribution timing for budget notebooks. Green Long said staff would circulate budget materials at least a week before meetings to give attendees time to review.
Council approved the calendar as presented. The council also considered a single application for an open budget-committee seat and voted to appoint Sandy Downey to position 7 with a term through Dec. 31, 2028. The appointment was moved, seconded and approved on the record.
