Public Works: Dev Guardia contract signed; regional MAO coordination continues

Public Works Director Kevin updated the council on recent regional coordination and contract work tied to MAO (wastewater) requirements. He said staff, including Atkins Engineering, met with Springfield and learned some information flows had not been reaching all partners; staff are working to align regional questions and share data. "We wanted to assure Crestwood that we're not gonna get in your way," he said, describing outreach to neighboring jurisdictions.
Kevin also said a contract with Dev Guardia was signed and that in May staff will start work on the SDC portion of costs related to hooking into the MWMC system; he said the city expects to have more information next month depending on the contractor's schedule.
