County finance chief reports 93% general fund revenue collection, introduces new finance hires

"Today, we are 93% collected," Kiesling said, noting interest and miscellaneous revenues were running above projections.
Kiesling introduced three new finance staff — Sandy Novak (finance director), Lisonbee Kirby (grants administrator) and Jillian Murray (senior buyer in procurement) — and described their start dates and experience. She summarized general fund expenditures (about 77% spent overall) and enterprise fund results, with stormwater and solid waste revenues and expenditures lagging in places. Kiesling directed committee members to a detailed budget-transfer report in the meeting backup for line-item justifications.
The committee asked no follow-up questions and the chair thanked Kiesling and welcomed the new hires. The presentation served as an informational update; no formal committee vote was required.
