Commissioners offered no substantive comments and voted 10‑0 to recommend RM‑1 zoning (motion by Hood, second Shivel).
The application would leave the southern portion of the property under the existing OM zoning and optional development plan; the rezoning applies only to the northern, currently vacant portion of the tract. The minutes note the property contains roughly 2.97 acres for the area described in the application and that sidewalks will be required along public street frontages as part of any new development.
