Inspection committee submits report on two mobile homes; photos and comparables entered into record

The inspection committee told the Board of Civil Authority it visited the property at issue in the appeal by Justin Poulin and prepared a written report that has been circulated to attendees and the full board. "The inspection committee is myself, Lou Helmut, Jessica Broussard, and Megan O'Toole," Helmut said, adding that he and Jesse had signed the report and Megan would sign after the meeting by Zoom.
Committee members and listers confirmed that comparables and photos submitted by Poulin were entered into the record. The committee assigned pooling numbers for the comparables and photos, identifying a 2-bedroom, 1-bath comparable at $8,000 (Pooling No. 1); a 72x15 comparable at $6,500 (Pooling No. 2); and a 2-bedroom, 1-bath comparable at $6,500 (Pooling No. 3). Helmut said the five photos Poulin submitted of the remaining mobile home were marked Pooling Nos. 4–8.
The presiding officer said the written inspection report is part of the record and that the listers' comparison material is included in that report. The board agreed to move into a private deliberative session to consider the valuation implications; the board will notify Poulin by letter of the outcome within two weeks.
