Multiple nearby residents — Stephen Gund, Jared Redyk, Ron King and Angela Wilson — told the commission the proposal was denser than originally communicated (they said the applicant had earlier indicated three lots), that the one‑lane road could not support the traffic and needed widening, and that utilities and road access were insufficient. Applicant representative Terry Pollock requested a continuance to Oct. 16 to discuss returning to the originally proposed three‑lot design; the commission granted the continuance (motion by Zalk; second by Rosene Robinson) by a 9‑0‑0 vote.
Next steps: Applicant will confer with neighbors and return with revised materials on Oct. 16, 2024.
