The board accepted the high bid from Bobby Waldschmidt to purchase a non-working Yoder meat smoker; the motion passed 6–0. During this portion Superintendent Brandie Waldschmidt briefly left the room and later returned.
On personnel, the board accepted the resignation of Kami Ballard, hired Angela Walters as junior high language arts teacher, approved Amanda Koger as a registered teacher apprentice, and approved the use of CHECKR to run background checks on new classified employees. Superintendent Brandie Waldschmidt later reported on the parking lot project, district vehicles and a contribution to the beef donation program. President Ki Gamble adjourned the meeting at 9:22 p.m.
