The Board of Education of Unified School District No. 422 ratified the 2025–26 negotiated agreement after an executive session on teacher negotiations. The motion to ratify was made by David Allison and seconded by J. Wynn Fleener; the board voted 6–0 to approve the agreement.
Under the ratified terms the board added $500 to the base salary for the 2025–26 school year, retained language allowing movement on columns and steps, and increased the district’s monthly group health insurance contribution by $42. The board entered executive session to discuss employer-employee negotiations at 8:50 p.m. and returned at 9:00 p.m. before voting to ratify.
