Sunbury planning staff reports 31 zoning certificates issued in July; 93 new-build permits year-to-date

Planning staff reported July permit activity and gave year-to-date totals during the July 27 meeting: 31 zoning certificates issued in July (12 of those were new builds) and a year-to-date total of 93 new-build permits compared with 84 through July 2025. Staff noted that several single-family permits are in the Eagle Creek development and that multi-family units include five-unit townhomes in Kinder Crossing.
As staff summarized, "In July up until, middle of last week, we had 31 zoning certificates issued thus far. Last July, we had 33." The report listed occupancy permits and other permit activity and concluded with an invitation for questions; commissioners had none.
