The Planning & Zoning Commission approved the preliminary plat for Eagle Creek Highlands Section 2 on July 27. Applicant representative Joe Lamparic of Pulte Homes presented the proposal, and staff said the lot layout, street network and open-space areas are consistent with the previously approved planned residential district (PRD). The commission approved the preliminary plat by roll call, 4-0; the item will return as a final plat after engineering and legal review.
Applicant representative Joe Lamparic introduced himself to the commission: "My name is Joe Lamparic. I'm with Pulte Homes, and I'm here this evening as representative Pulte." Planning staff summarized that the proposed plat supports connectivity to Section 1, includes open-space areas (open space C and D) and conforms with Sunbury’s comprehensive plan and Parkway master plan. Commissioners who spoke praised the green space and connectivity in the design. The final plat will return to the commission with engineering and legal reviews before recommendation to city council.
